This week was crazy and relaxing. Tried some new techniques with this layout, check it out below
Week Four: January 20th – 26th 2014
About this week: This week was spontaneous and busy during the first half. I went to work super ridiculously early on Monday so I could take half a day on Tuesday to take a road trip to Columbus (check out the half page insert I did below!), later in the week I had some time to relax getting a massage with my bestie.
Cameras, printers & software used: Canon 7D, 24-70mmL lens, iPhone 5 camera, Pic Tap Go app, Photoshop CS5, Epson Photo Stylus 1400 printer on Epson paper.
Memorabilia Used: business cards, concert ticket, photo pass
Other Products Used: Studio Calico Wood Arrows & travel buttons, blue washi tape, white and gray washi tape
I cut one of the Design A sleeves in half and added one of the 3″x4″ card sleeves to give extra info space. I used washi tape to connect it all and punched holes in the right spots. This was a good technique to use to add info without sharing it with whoever is looking at your album or, if you’re really into the overall look of your page, it’s a good way to add info without messing that up.
I used a touch of washi tape to attach my concert ticket stub as I didn’t want to permanently affix it. This is the front of my little flip addition.
I loved the boldness of the stripes but I wanted the text to stand out so I used some blue washi to write on.
I wanted something to fill in some space and I had the theme song for Clarissa Explains It All in my head “heeey cooool”. Made a good space filler.
This is the back of the concert half of the page. We also spent some time in Columbus, Ohio making stops at Melt and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream (and boy it’s still splendid even when the temperature is 5 degrees outside!)
The rest of the week was pretty low key. Got massages with my bestie, went to lunch then we had to pick up some cupcakes. The don’t judge me arrow was perfect for that situation! I also made two new recipes and bought a new plant friend. Yum.
