Our last day on our very short trip to Pittsburgh we got breakfast at De Luca’s after I took some photographs of my favorite Pittsburgh bridges. The sign on the door says “Home of the BEST breakfast in town”. This sounds promising. The line outside of the door wasn’t too bad when we got there yet we still waited a good 20-30 minutes before sitting down. We must have arrived at just the right time as the people just kept piling up behind us. This must bethe best breakfast spot for sure.
The menu was HUGE, it was a hard decision to make.
Holy moly this is one huge breakfast. I ate most of it except the bacon!
Walking down the Strip District you can hear musicians, merchants and people everywhere shopping, eating, being a tourist… lots of energy and people.
I really wanted to check out a cute bakery while in town but we settled for a trip to The Milk Shake Factory, yum! We split a mint vanilla shake.
Time to go home, only two or so hour drive away. Next visit will involve IKEA & The Andy Warhol museum!
