The West Side Market is a Cleveland Ohio staple, and weekly tradition for many. Having celebrated it’s centennial birthday a couple of years ago it’s definitely had time to earn it’s reputation. This week I visited a favorite Ohio City lunch spot Ohio City Burrito then walked across the street to the market with my camera and a craving for some Grandma Campbell’s cake ball.
One of my favorite things to do is sit up on the second story ledge’s seating and people watch. You get quite a view from up here. (see an old photo I took from above here
I love walking through the produce section, tons of colorful veggies and fruits all around you.
When you stroll into the market there are stands for just about every type of food under the sun. I love looking at the homemade pastas from Ohio City Pasta.

Many different meet vendors to choose from
If I lived closer I’d shop here all the time, but since it’s a bit of a drive for me it’s always a special occasion to visit. If you find yourself in Cleveland it’s definitely a must see location.
